🛡️ OC Operating Characteristic Curve
Acceptance probability curve of a sampling plan (n,c); computes producer / consumer risk
🔧 All Tools
The OC curve shows the acceptance probability Pa(p) of a sampling plan (sample n, acceptance number c) at different process defect rates p. The steeper the curve, the better the plan distinguishes good from bad lots; the flatter it is, the larger the producer / consumer risk. Finite lots use the hypergeometric distribution; when the lot can be treated as infinite, the binomial approximation is used.

About OC (Operating Characteristic) Curve

Plot the operating characteristic curve for a sampling plan (n, Ac), mark AQL and LTPD, and quantify producer's risk and consumer's risk.
